Azure AI services offer a cloud-driven platform for integrating artificial intelligence features into your applications. As with any software service, it is important to oversee AI services to manage expenses, recognize utilization patterns, and identify possible problems.

Monitor Cost

One significant advantage of utilizing cloud services is the ability to achieve cost savings by only covering expenses for the services you actually use. Certain resources within Azure AI services provide a free tier with usage limitations, making it beneficial for development and testing; in addition, there are one or more paid tiers that result in charges based on transactions. The exact billing rate varies depending on the type of resource.

Plan costs for AI services

You can use the Azure Pricing Calculator to assess expenses prior to implementing a solution that relies on AI services. Make a new estimate and choose Azure AI services in the AI + Machine Learning category to use the price calculator to determine the cost of AI services. Next, choose the particular AI service API you want to use, the area in which you want to supply it, and the instance pricing tier you want to use. Then, enter the expected usage metrics and support option. Add more Azure AI services products to the estimate in order to generate an estimate that incorporates several AI services APIs.

An estimate can be saved once it has been produced. Additionally, it can be exported in Microsoft Excel format.

View costs for AI services

In common with other Azure resources, you can view details of accumulated costs for AI services resources in the Azure portal. To view costs for AI services, sign into the Azure portal and select your subscription. You can then view overall costs for the subscription by selecting the Cost analysis tab. To view only costs for AI services, add a filter that restricts the data to reflect resources with a service name of Cognitive Services.

The API initiates a task that collects all the data from the AMI and its associated snapshots, subsequently using an S3 multipart upload to store this data in an S3 object. It gathers all elements of the AMI, including most of the non-Region-specific metadata and all EBS snapshots included in the AMI, and consolidates them into a single object in S3.
